Common Questions
Do I need Foundation before Identity or Execution?
Yes, and intentionally so. Positioning must be locked before visual identity is built. Designing a brand without a messaging foundation produces aesthetics without strategy, which means rework every 12–18 months as your business evolves.
What if I already have a brand? Can we skip Phase 1?
We always start with a strategy audit — even if you have an existing brand. We need to validate that your positioning actually holds before building on top of it. In most cases we find gaps. If your strategy is genuinely locked, Phase 1 is shorter and the engagement adjusts accordingly.
What do I actually receive at the end?
A complete positioning document, your UVP and messaging hierarchy, a full logo suite, visual system (colors, typography, iconography), brand guidelines, brand templates, and all source files. Everything you need to brief any designer, agency, or team member — without starting over.
Am I locked in for the full engagement from day one?
No. Each phase has an approval gate — you review and sign off before we invoice the next payment and proceed. You're never committed beyond the current phase without explicit agreement.
How long does this take and how involved do I need to be?
5–6 weeks total. You'll need to participate in the positioning workshop (2–3 hours) and provide feedback at review checkpoints — typically 2–4 hours of your time per phase. We handle the heavy lifting; you stay in the decision seat.
